INFORMATION

P8 is a natural product derived from Aloe Vera, by using a unique process, world wide patented. The extraction of the active ingredients is made in New Caledonia and Australia as well. P8 is available now. Please print out this fax order and fax or send to Cosmecal.

After many years of research, the COSMECAL Laboratories have found a new processing method which led to a unique raw material  ACTIVE COMPLEX ALOE VERA - P2) which shows some exceptional therapeutics effects, specially in the treatment of the hyperseborrhoea and hair loss

The hair lotion P8 being made from 98.5% of this Active Complex P2 and added with some other active ingredients specially targeted for their actions, ends up as a remarkable product for the treatment of any abnormal scalp condition.

P8 is sold in New Caledonia where the process has been invented, but also in France, Germany, Taiwan, Tahiti, Vanuatu, Australia and Japan.

P8'S ACTION

P8 reduces seborrhoea, curbs excessive hair loss and renews the follicular cycle that has been stopped or been perturbed. At the same time, it regulates the sebaceous function, and assists the return to the scalp's proper physiological balance.

As P8 activates fresh growth and growth of existing hair, it is recommended that it should be used as soon as the first symptom of thinning of hair appears (hair loss can be considered abnormal when it exceeds 40 hairs a day).

Perseverance in the treatment during the first three months is most important. This is when the hair that is no longer growing (dead hair) is liable to come out fairly frequently, expelled by the growth of new hair, the quantity and quality of which will be stimulated by the application of P8. The hair becomes thicker, more supple, more shining.

P8 has an antiseptic and keratoplastic action on the outer layer of the epidermis. It reduces the condition known as scaly scalp, dandruff and micro-organisms.

THE THREE ACTIVE PRINCIPLES OF P8

The three active ingredients in P8 are:

  1. THE ACTIVE COMPLEX ALOE VERA "P2" ):
    Regularise the sebum secretion.
  2. THE COPPER SULFATE:
Plays a role as an anti-microbic agent on the surface of the scalp.
  3. THE CAMPHOR:
Invigorating action on the blood vessels, nourishing the bulb of the hair.

The main active ingredient (98.5%) used in P8 is the ACTIVE COMPLEX ALOE VERA - P2 which is a special aqueous extract of the Aloe Vera plant obtained by using a new process.

Thus, P8, by acting at the different hair growth cycles and protection of the scalp, will improve the general condition of your hair, by stimulating hair growth and revitalising the hair.

Many factors affect the growth of hair. They include age, diet, general health, illness. During them, the growing phase of the follicles is shorter, causing thinning of the hair or even baldness. This type of hair loss is not permanent because new hair grows as soon as the growing cycle starts again.

This can be caused by an abnormal function of the sebaceous glands called seborrhoea.

TREATMENT

BALDNESS CASE OR EXTENSIVE ALOPECIA

Two applications daily, morning and night, preferably on clean dry hair. The hair should be divided in several parting and P8 applied along each, to the root of the hair, starting from the top of the skull: a few drops are enough to moisten the scalp. Massage the scalp with the finger-tips so that it absorbs the tonic. Wait a few minutes , do not rinse, style your hair as usual. After three months, a protective treatment of one application daily will be sufficient.

FOR SIGNIFICANT LOSS OF HAIR AND SLIGHT ALOPECIA

One application daily will be enough.

FOR THINNING CASE OF LADIES' HAIR

One application to the scalp each time after washing the hair and when is practically dry: 2 or 3 times a week will be enough. After treatment, dry the hair in the usual manner.

QUANTITY REQUIRED

125mL. of P8 (1 bottle ) will be enough for 1 to 3 months, depending on the type of treatment required.

EFFECT OF THE SEBORRHOEA ON THE SCALP

Many authorities consider seborrhoea as a mild bacterial disease. It is the excess of sebum on the scalp which causes the hyper-seborrhoea and its origin can be linked to different causes such as:

The excess of sebum blocks the capillary canal and spread over the surface of the skin. The enzymes, produced by the bacterias and fungus, transform the sebum into fatty free acid. Under the influence of air and light, an auto-oxidation occurs, intensified by the action of microbic peroxidase which produces the formation of the lipoperoxides, leading to a chronic irritation of the scalp which becomes red and itchy.

This can lead to a loss of hair because the infection can be severe enough to damage the follicles and as the blood vessels are getting atrophied, it stops the keratinisation process which leads to thin and fragile hair.

That's why it is important to react quickly as soon as the first sign of hair loss is noticed.

Seborrhoea can also lead to the formation of dandruff some can be "dry" dandruff (seborrhoea sica) which don't adhere on the scalp or "oily" dandruff (seborrhoea oleosa).

CLINICAL TESTS

A clinical evaluation has been conducted on 260 people, women and men, during one year, to treat the hyperseborrhoea and loss of hair, or for both conditions.

It has been done at The Faculty of Medicine of Strasbourg, and the results have been published in the "Journal de Medicine et de Chirurgie Dermatologigue"(Vol. XIX No74, June 1992) and registered in the Pascal Index of the Scientific and Technic Data Institute (CRNS).
